Yoni Eggs Guide For Beginners

Yoni Eggs Guide For Beginners

Stones and crystals have been very popular since ancient periods. Ancient cultures from India, Japan, China, Aisa, the Romans, and Egyptians used these stones to encourage enlightenment and healing.

It is estimated that women have been using yoni eggs (or Jade Eggs) for over 5,000 years. The Empresses of the Royal Palace of China used them to access sexual power, awaken sensuality and maintain optimum health into their old age. This ancient, secret practice has been only available to members of the royal family, until now.

Yoni Eggs are egg-shaped stones, carved from crystals. They are designed to be inserted into the vaginal canal for up to 12 hours per day and used for many different purposes, including:

  • Strengthening vaginal muscles.
  • Connecting with your sacred femininity and spirituality.
  • Toning pelvic floor muscles and preventing pelvic organ prolapse.
  • Relieving menstrual cramps.
  • Increasing sexual energy.
  • Reducing negative energy.
  • Gain control of the perineum and pelvic floor muscles after childbirth… even years later.
  • Improve bladder control and bladder health.
  • Reduce PMS, menstrual cramps, breast discomfort; regular practise can increase blood flow to pelvic organs and help move stagnant energy.
  • Support Orgasmic Health: including vaginal, cervical and uterine orgasms.
  • Regular practice stimulates the Bartholin gland inside the vagina that is responsible for producing lubrication. One of the first effects women experience is feeling juicier, which can ease vaginal dryness during intercourse.
  • Stimulate reflexology points of all the major organs in the body.
  • Can help to release stored emotional and energetic imprints, as the vaginal tissue holds onto these psychological blockages.
  • Overcome traumatic experiences, as it can promote and encourage a sense of trust back in the body.
  • Cultivate and enhance a deeper and more loving relationship with one’s body.
  • Awaken creative energy, passion, libido and sexuality..

These gemstones are also designed to be held internally during meditation to improve connected and divine feminine energy.

Gemstone Yoni Eggs are sourced from the only natural, holistic, non-synthetic products. They are a non-porous, hygienic alternative to plastic, silicone and metal kegel balls (aka: ben wa balls) and pelvic floor exercisers.

Yoni Egg Definition

The word Yoni in Sanskrit means "the genital organ of the woman". It is also the symbol of the feminine energy called Shakti. Yoni eggs come in three sizes, large medium and small. They are also referred to as Jade Eggs.

How to use Yoni egg?

There are two ways to use yoni eggs:

1. Daily Exercise:

Insert the egg and simply go about your day. The weight of the yoni egg and the gravity of the earth will naturally pull the egg downwards, which will engage the pelvic floor and vaginal muscles to keep the egg in the vagina. Make sure to wear your underwear in case it falls out.

2. Sleep:

Another option is to insert the egg before going to sleep. Many believe in the natural healing properties of gemstones and crystals. Our bodies heal and repair during sleep, so it makes sense to use the powers of these eggs to aid the healing process.

How often can I wear my Yoni egg?

You can wear your yoni egg every day and enjoy its benefits. If you choose not to wear it every day, it is recommended that you use it at least three times a week.

Using less than once a week may not have much of an effect on your pelvic floor muscles, orgasms, or sexual energy.

Avoid using the egg for more than 6 to 12 hours in a row. If you experience abdominal pain (such as cramps) remove the egg immediately. Your Yoni egg needs to breathe and your muscles need to relax.

Do I need a Yoni Egg?

The vagina and pelvic floor muscles are like other muscles in the body, they require exercise in order to be operating at their maximum potential.

Yoni Eggs are a great way to keep your downstairs area in top condition. If you are new to kegel and pelvic floor exercises you can check out a great article for more information here.

Just as you lift weights at the gym to build your biceps muscles, it is also recommended to use a weight to strengthen these areas.

How to insert a Yoni Egg?

Always check the condition of your yoni egg before inserting it. Check visually for scratches or chipped areas. Do not use the yoni if the egg is chipped or feels rough. These polished stones should be very smooth all over.

You can choose any sex toy lubricant to facilitate insertion. If you have a drilled egg, pass the thread through the drilled hole and tie a knot.

Place the larger end of the yoni egg into the opening of your vagina and gently push the length of the fingers. It will go inside and rest in the cavity between the G-spot and the cervix. The string should be exposed outside of the vagina for easy retrieval.

Is it normal not to feel my egg inside me?

Depending on the size of your egg, you may not feel it is there once inserted. A polished egg is only about 70 grams. It is normal to insert the egg and not feel anything.

Some women can feel the yoni once inserted and some don't.

How to remove a Yoni Egg?

If you are a beginner, start with a drilled Yoni egg. This will allow you to take it out using the string attached.

if you are using a drilled yoni egg, gently pull the retrieval string to remove the egg. It should come out easily.

If you choose to use undrilled eggs, you can do the following to remove them:

  • Crouch down and insert your finger to take it out. It may take a while to reach and remove it.
  • Go to the bathroom as if you were going to the toilet. Place a generous amount of toilet paper into the toilet bowl area. This will stop the egg from being lost in the toilet and will stop the egg from being damaged when it comes out.
  • Crouch and cough.
  • Ask your partner to put their finger inside you to retrieve it.

Can I use a Yoni Egg when pregnant?

It is recommended to simply do your pelvic floor exercises without using your eggs, kegel weights or ben wah balls.

Once you have been through childbirth, it is advisable to wait to use your Yoni eggs for at least 3 months.

When you are pregnant, it is best not to introduce new practices and not to engage in risk-taking.

Can I boil my Yoni egg to clean it?

Yoni crystal eggs should not be boiled as they may crack under pressure or damage their crystal structure and integrity.

It is advisable to wash Yoni eggs in lukewarm water with a sex toy sanitiser, or a drizzle of vinegar, or mild soap. After washing, dry the egg with a clean, dry towel and allow to air dry (24 hours) before storing away.

Charging Your Yoni Egg

After you clean your yoni egg, you might want to "charge" it.

Knowing how to care for and charge crystals and stones while they are in your possession is crucial so that you will be able to make the most out of them.

The concept of charging crystals and stones is to dispel any lingering negativity that is affecting you and others who are around you.

Another reason why you should charge your stones and crystals is that they are only carrying limited energies. They will weaken and begin to dwindle over time.

Charge your yoni egg by placing it on the window sill all day under the sun or with moonlight at night. It is especially powerful when you place your yoni egg under the light of the Full Moon.
